KHUONG Anh Dung
Computational Mechanics expert

Welcome to my homepage
I have more than ten years of experience in Computational Mechanics, my initial research was focused in Solid Mechanics (FEM) from 2003, then I worked in the Fracture Mechanics (XFEM), contact mechanics, mesh generation, from 2009 my research projects have been deeply explored in Fluid Mechanics (Experimental and mainly Computational Fluid Dynamics - CFD). With my background and experience in numerical modelling of both solid and fluid, i have been also doing research in Fluid–structure interaction (FSI) recently. My numerical studies have been covering several applications such as aerospace, hydrodynamics, combustion, spray, turbulence, ventilation, adaptive mesh refinement, detonation, shock/blast wave, droplets and bubbles, thermodynamics, MEMS. I have been a regular peer reviewer for many international journals, e.g., International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Computers & Mathematics with Applications, Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics, SAE, Asia Pacific Journal on Computational Engineering, Advances in Computational Mechanics.
